However, a blender is an appliance that can be used for much more than your breakfast smoothies or snack options.

Flavored Ice Cubes

Ice cubes don’t have to be water only. With the help of your blender, you can make fruit-flavored cubes. For instance, you can make watermelon and lime ice cubes in the summer to make an antioxidant-rich drink. Besides, you can simply add these cubes into your drinking water for flavor.

To make this blender recipe, add the juice of 1 lime with 2 cups of chopped watermelon, and 1 tablespoon of mint leaves in your blender. Blend them until they turn into liquid. Then pour it into your ice cube tray. Freeze and enjoy.

Waffles and Pancakes

Making waffles and pancakes batter in your blender has an advantage. That is you can add fruits and veggies to the batter to add nutrition. Besides, the preparation takes little time, and making the batter takes less than 60 seconds in your blender.

Pink Pancakes

To make a batch of beet filled pink pancakes, put 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of plant-based milk of your preference, 1 cup of chopped raw beet, ½ teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt in your blender. Blend until smooth, then use this batter to make pancakes.

Sweet Potato Waffles

You’ll have to start by baking a medium sweet potato for this recipe. Then put it in your blender with ½ cup of old-fashioned oats and ½ cup ground flax, 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon of baking powder. Blend it until it comes to a batter-like consistency. After that, use your waffle iron to make waffles.

Nut Milk

Among the things to make in a blender, nut milk, and rice milk is our favorites. And this pistachio milk has taken a spot in our list of delicious blender recipes.

Pistachio Milk

Put 1 cup of pistachios(roasted and rinsed), and 4 cups of water in the blender. You can add vanilla extract if you want to. Then blend and sift the liquid through a cheesecloth. And that’s it. Your pistachio milk is ready.

Rice Milk

Take ¾ cup of uncooked long-grain white rice and soak in 2 cups of very hot(not boiling) water for 2 hours. The rice will be soft, and you can check by trying to snap one with a fingernail. If it is ready to use to make milk, it will snap without much effort. Then drain the water and put it in the blender.

After that include 4 cups of water(use less if you want to have thicker consistency), a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or a whole date for sweetness. After that blend it for about 1 minute(until the mixture looks well combined). Then sift the milk and refrigerate.

Pureed Soup

Pureed soups are great blender meals that you can make at home. Besides, you can always throw in many veggies to make soups like creamy broccoli soup or carrot and cauliflower soup.
